Calder Jamison Stahl. 20 Years Old. Born on July 28, 1988 to Robert Stahl and Katherine Ramsey. There is no real history between Robert and Katherine. They met and fell in love, they dated for fourteen years before finally giving birth to Calder at the age of 32, which fit perfectly into the plan that Katherine had set for herself. Always a woman of plans. Nothing in her life was ever supposed to step outside of the plan, if it did she would feel as if the world around her was crashing. She would be confused and scared. If something happened that wasn't exactly as she wanted it to...she would have to make a new plan. Meet the man she was supposed to fall in love with? Check. Have a child by the time she's 30? Check. Be married for at least five years before having said child? Nope. Robert was always against marriage. He assured her very early into their relationship that he had no intention of ever getting married, yet he was going to be devoted to her for life. Did she accept this? Of course not. It was not how her life was supposed to go, it was not a part of the plan. Her own family would disown her for staying with a man forever and never making it legal. What did she do? The only thing she knew how to do. She lied.
Fake ring. Fake pictures. Fake certificate. All were used in order to trick her entire family into believing that Katherine and Robert had eloped in Las Vegas...while truth is neither one of them has ever even been to Las Vegas. Robert agreed to do this only so her parents would agree to be in their son's life. Everything the couple did was for the best of their child. They wanted Calder to have the best life he could have, and would do everything in their power to be sure that he has just that. It was once again, all going according to the plan. Until the day the young boy found out his childhood was a lie. His parents were never married, everything about them was fake...thus began a very confusing, complicated, messy ride for the sixteen year old boy. One which did not end as anyone would have expected.
After discovering his entire childhood was a lie, Calder said peace out to his parents, Threw a bag over his shoulder packed with whatever clothes he did have, grabbed his guitar and was out the door. He ran straight to his grandparents where he told them the truth. Everything was a lie. His parents realized there was no point in trying to talk some sense into him, and decided to not even try and get him to come back home. He moved in with his grandparents, who made him feel more at home, more comfortable than he did in his own home..the one he had known his entire life.
Calder finished off high school at eighteen years old, and decided that he would just stick around Phili for a while, and go to community college while he tried to figure out his future plans. His grandparents were more then willing to pay for his college education, and always seemed happy when he showed his appreciation for everything (as well as their honesty) they have ever done for him. He hadn't spoken to his parents since a week after he left home, that is until he was nineteen...when he found out his mother was pregnant again. This time she promised him she would do everything right. After sitting down for the first real meal with both his parents since he was sixteen, he discovered they no longer were the parents who raised him..and they were engaged. They said they wanted to do it right this time around. This. Time. Around. While he knew they were trying to say they had changed for him, Calder felt as if that was the final kick out of the family. He then told them he no longer wanted anything to do with them, and to never contact him again. That was all they needed to hear, before they accepted his wishes.
Now at twenty-one years old, Calder has recently graduated from community college and is still..at a loss for what to do for the rest of his life. As of this moment in time he is a pizza delivery boy. Some would say it's a crappy job, he would say it's the perfect job when you don't know who you are, who you want to be or where you want to go. He is no longer living with his grandparents, he recently moved in with two very attractive, lovely ladies who have made sure to make him feel more at home then he ever did with either his parents or grandparents. Music is the only solid thing in his life. He plays guitar and yet feels he has no singing talent whatsoever, even though others would beg to differ.
